On Villar, PGMA, etc

If I had my way, Gordon and Gibo would be the top two presidentiables. I think these two are the most apt for the position to lead and at the same serve. Almost everyone I talk to thinks the same.

But this is the Philippine politics the "apt" doesn't win, but the rich does. I think I am now more than convinced that I will not, I repeat I will NOT vote for Villar. I'm pretty sure you've heard of the rumor that Villar is the secret candidate of Gloria Arroyo. Yes, that corrupt midget is still not over with stealing our money. I don't want to be cynical, but she will get what she wants. She will be a congresswoman and she will do whatever it takes to have her cha-cha. She's just so scheming! The rumor of her siding with Villar surfaced late last year. And just two weekends ago, I received a text from someone I believe to be a reliable source. This is what it says:

From Fr. Catalino Arevalo:

Now the cat's out of the bag..Manny Villar is the secret candidate of President GMA. Mike Arroyo himself met with Manny Villar at the house of Mike Defensor last January 7. Villar secretly agreed to make GMA speaker of the House and protect her should Villar win the presidency...Villar agreed to GMA's offer of massive logistical support in GMA's commissioner's in the COMELEC who will assure Villar's victory..

I don't how true this is. But this "rumor" has been going on for quite a while..and I've heard this story from three different people. You don't have to believe me, but be vigilant. And think before you vote for him. Just like what he said, do a checklist. C-5 controversy guilty--check! Ad spent costing billions which he would most likely retrieve back from our taxes once he's seated--check! Greedy for power enough to trade what's dignity left of him--check!

On a better light..let's do a blind item on a presidentiable! There's a presidentiable who is sometimes perceived as weak (well, maybe just by me) who turned down an offer of 2 friggin' BILLION pesos from a known business tycoon who owns a brewery, a bank, among other businesses. The presidentiable supposedly doesn't want to compromise. See, there's still someone who has his integrity intact, no matter how lousy his ads are! Lol.

On Erap

Its an unwritten rule to avoid political issues in social occasions. Well, that's very hard to do especially during the campaign season, ayt?

We were out having dinner the other night with some tsinoy clients when the topic of presidential candidate came up. We asked them who their bet was and they said Erap. You could expect the surprise on our faces. They followed with the explanation that during the time of Erap no one was hungry. Furthermore, they claimed that there were a lot of investors, mostly Chinese, in the Philippines during his presidency. A lot of Chinese were able to open up businesses. We had to change the topic to avoid an argument because if they went on further, we might have negate their justifications. They were our client, regardless of different views we cannot do anything that might piss them off.

I assume you see what's wrong with their rationalization right? Yes, a lot of Chinese were able to open businesses. On the other hand, a lot of Filipino became mere employer. The foreigners in this country became richer while the real owners became slaves for them. I don't know about you but that picture doesn't exactly illustrate what I have in mind for Filipinos. I don't want to be a second rate citizen in my own country. And need I remind everyone that he was accused of plunder and was ousted, Tsk!

The circus is in town again. I hope that this time we would take extra effort to evaluate every act, every face we see on the stage.

Who to vote for?

I like to share something I've read from Bianca Gonzales' blog.

question of ben cabigas:
"In principle, is it OK to abstain for the position of President? Pa'no pag hindi buo ang loob mo sa boto mo?"

reply of st anthony enriquez tiu:

It's like something my friends and I always say when we talk about presidentiables. Of course, we have complaints with each presidentiables, and boy, don't we have a lot of them. But we usually end the conversation, crossing to debate at times, with: Choose the lesser evil. Choose who has the bigger heart to serve the Filipinos.

Campaign period OFFICIALLY starts on Monday. Let's be active in researching and choosing who to vote for.

Still stuck.

Okay...It's hard to move on from the new "info" I've learned today. I mean, those analyses could be true. And something about it made me not want to play any music today. Seriously! I'm still stuck. I can't stop googling and reading other articles about it. Just a thought, maybe these artists are not aware of what they've gotten themselves into. Maybe it's the directors, the label companies, the people behind these artists who are really part of Illuminati or whatever order. Coz cmon these artists don't really conceptualize their videos, posters, etc... do they? Hmmm.

It's just hard to accept. I look up to these artists. Maybe not as role models. But they do entertain me on a daily basis. I personally turn to music at times when I'm feeling depressed, sad, happy even. I just love music. And to learn that there is a possibility that I am being unconsciously manipulated into watching and listening to something that goes against my belief is just shocking! o_o

And the Grammys even adds impact on this supposedly conspiracy or whatever they call it. The award show also focuses on Beyonce, T.Swift, BEP, L.Gaga and all those supposedly part of the order. It's like they're always nominated. And they keep winning. And notice they never even gave thanks to God.

It's just a heartbreak for me. I bet they will soon come out with an analysis of Pink's performance also. Awww. I just can't celebrate and gush on the awesome perf anymore.

Oh well, I have to get over this! I just hope I don't have disturbing dreams. I easily get affected with this kind of sorta scary things.

Good thoughts. Good thoughts. Good thoughts. xx

Illuminati in Hollywood

I am in utter shock! I know Hollywood is dirty...but I never though it's THAT dirty. I can't explain it as my mind is still reeling from the videos I've watched and articles I've read. Just right after I tweeted how great LadyGaga is. And you all know how I'm a big fan of her.

There are other series of this, if you are interested, youtube-d it up! But read articles by Vigilant Citizen as they're more detailed. It will send goosebumps up your sleeves. Something about Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, and more about Lady Gaga. In no way I am saying that all these are true. But if you google connections about Illuminati and these artists, a lot of links will come up. And all coincide with each other. The images, the symbolism..sheesh! I am heartbroken..seriously! And I'm not being OA. For a music lover and a Christian, I am torn. Could all these be true? Should I not listen to their song anymore? Must I stop watching MTV? Oh no! Oh no! Oh no!

Here's a commercial "analysis" of MTV's holiday ad.

What do you think?

All these drove my sickness away. I'm still stuck. I can't move on. And OA-ness aside, this will haunt me for a very long time! It is possible that Illuminati exists in Hollywood but still....

3 S in Subic

Sun, Sand and Sea in Subic!!!!

And not to mention, discussions on how to make the boss, oopps, the company I mean richer!

We had a great time. I just wish everyone was there with us.
Notice how we're addicted to jump shots? Good thing Michael C. was with us, he's our official photographer. Is it too much to ask for FM to do this every month. For R & R. Rested bodies tend to be more productive, you know? Lol :)

So can't wait for Summer this year. I have a couple of plans lined up. I hope they're not all drawing, if you know what I mean! :)

Commercial kuno :)

Kunwari sikat na blogger ako and a lot of people are visiting my site! Lol :-))

Just want to share a (relatively) new drink in the market. It's Peak juice!! It's an anti-stress drink with L-carnitine. It comes three different variants: Calamansi, Mango and Four Season. My personal fave is the four seasons flavour. I think it's better than more popular juice drinks out there. Sure, their packaging is not all that great (an opinion I've mentioned twice with the owner) and if you're not too familiar with the product, you might not be too keen on getting one from the shelf. But as the cliche adage goes, dont judge a book by it's cover. Yikes, that's really corny. Seriously though, it's a delicious juice drink. And I'm not just saying that because they're a client.

You can find this product in Rustan's groceries, Shopwise, Ever Gotesco, South Supermarket and Gaisano groceries.

If you happen to do your shopping in any of these groceries, please buy a bottle. And do watch their TVC below. :-))

No more waiting...

This picture reminds me so much of an entry I've posted in my multiply almost seven months ago.

There are times when I would find myself thinking why I'm here.

Sometimes feel like a pawn in a chess match God is playing. Like I'm just watching as the king and queen are making they're most amazing moves while all I can do is go one step front, one step back. Sometimes I feel like the name you see crawl up on the screen after a movie. For five seconds, your name is there for everyone to read only no one actually pays attention to the credits. Sometimes I'm the hamster who keeps running in the little circle. I run, run, run but when I stop I'm in the exact same place.

I love my job. I get to leave the office when I want to. I get paid to meet a lot of people which for me is not considered work but a treat. Attend events. It's advertising world, how could it not be fun? I can picture myself getting old in this industry.

But there are times when I would question what's the point of all this. Who am I helping? Companies brain washing consumers into buying their stuff. Should I be a lawyer like the ones who have gone before me? But even that seems like a lost cause for me. I don't see myself wearing a hard hat with a blue print on my head deciding whether we should put an arc in the opening of the building or not. There are times I think that becoming a doctor or a nurse at the very least would be my best bet coz you get to save lives but then I remember I could barely look at a needle being inserted in my skin to my vein let alone do that to a stranger. My gag reflex is not built for all the episodes in a hospital. Maybe a psychologist or counsellor? Although I don't think that someone whose best friend is Repression should be even giving pieces of advice. I could totally hear myself, "You're a wimp, bottle it up! If you make yourself believe you're okay, you ARE okay. No need to deal with that emotions. Lock it up in a box and push it at the back of your mind." Tsk tsk. Maybe a missionary? But my track record would totally go against what I'll be preaching. I'm probably the most confused "Christian" you'll ever meet. I'm running out of ideas here.

I wish have an ending to this. Like a bulb have just lighted and I know exactly what to do... but I have none up my sleeve.

Then again, I'm like the stock market. Fluctuating. Tomorrow, I'll probably even wonder why I considered other jobs because I was made to be in advertising. Then the day after that, I'll be staring at the ceiling asking Bro if I'm just here on earth as part of His plan for other people or if He really has something especially for me. I know what His Word says and I know I should believe that He has plans for me and I do (I told you I'm the most confused believer...ever). It's just that sometimes, I'm just tired of waiting. Like I'm in a long line and I keep craning my neck to see the beginning of the line but all I can see is a never ending stream of heads.

I felt so lost then...I was waiting for something great to happen. Maybe I wasn't ready then. But I know I am now. So Lord, bring it on! I just can't wait for all Your promises to come true! I want that "S-curve" :)

You're probably wondering what that S-curve is, huh? Will tell you more some other time! :)

Because...

You know exactly how to make me smile. You pacify every anxiety and doubts. You have a way of making everything rainbow-y. You seem to be who I need now. But not everything that feels right is right. In our secret world, it's a match heaven bound. But sooner or later we have to get out of that make-believe world. And I'm afraid we're not strong enough to make it out in the real world.

We've had enough drama. Let's not delve into this one!
